Role Description This is a full time, on-site role for a Technical Support Engineer – Solar Operations and Maintenance based in Pune City. The role involves providing technical support for residential rooftop solar installations, including diagnosing system issues, performing routine maintenance, and coordinating corrective actions to maximize system uptime and performance. The Technical Support Engineer will monitor solar plant performance, respond to customer service requests,



and work closely with field technicians to resolve hardware, software, and connectivity problems. The role also includes maintaining documentation of service activities, preparing technical reports, and sharing feedback with design and installation teams to improve future projects. The engineer will engage with customers in a professional manner, ensuring clear communication, timely resolution of issues, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, including inverters, modules, mounting structures, and electrical balance-of-system components.
Hands-on experience in operations and maintenance of rooftop solar plants, including troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and performance optimization.
Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams, wiring layouts, and technical manuals for solar and electrical equipment.
