Job Location: SVKM's College of Pharmacy, Tardi Shirpur

Qualifications for Professor

a. Ph. D. degree in relevant field and First class or equivalent at either
Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch.

AND

Minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching / research / industry out of which
at least 3 years shall be at a post equivalent to that of an Associate
Professor.

AND

At least 6 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI
journals / UGC / AICTE approved list of journals and at least 2 successful Ph.D.
guided as Supervisor / Co-supervisor till the date of eligibility of promotion.

OR

At least 10 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI
journals / UGC / AICTE approved list of journals till the date of eligibility of
promotion.

Responsibilities:

* Provide academic leadership in the department and mentor junior faculty
members.
* Lead curriculum revision and development aligned with emerging technologies
and industry needs.




* Serve as Chairperson/Member on various institutional committees and academic
bodies.
* Evaluate and improve teaching-learning methodologies to enhance academic
quality.
* Supervise Ph.D. scholars and promote a robust research culture within the
department.
* Act as a resource person or keynote speaker at reputed academic and
professional events.
* Contribute to strategic planning and policy development at the
institute/university level.
* Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practicals as per university syllabus.
* Prepare lesson plans, course files, and teaching materials.
* Use modern teaching aids and ICT tools.
* Guide undergraduate (UG) and post graduate (PG) projects.
* Conduct quality research in the relevant engineering field.
* Publish research papers in peer-reviewed journals
(SCI/Scopus/WOS/UGC-listed).
* Apply for patents, research grants, and consultancy projects.
* Participate in university and departmental academic activities.
