Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead Java engineering teams and drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have robust technical expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices, combined with proven experience managing engineering teams and delivering complex technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage engineering teams of Java developers, technical leads, and senior engineers.
Provide technical direction for Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices applications.
Drive system design, architecture, development, and technical decision-making.
Manage engineering delivery, resource planning, timelines, dependencies, and risks.
Partner with Product, Architecture, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
Conduct design and code reviews and ensure engineering best practices.
Mentor and develop engineering leads and senior developers.
Drive application modernization and migration toward microservices architecture.
Ensure scalability, performance, security, reliability,



and code quality.
Drive adoption of CI/CD, DevOps, automation, and cloud-native practices.
Resolve complex technical and production issues.
Build a high-performing engineering culture focused on quality and continuous improvement.

Required Skills
14+ years of overall software engineering experience.
3–4 years of experience as an Engineering Manager / Engineering Lead.
Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
Strong experience in system design and distributed systems.
Experience with REST APIs and enterprise application development.
Strong knowledge of SQL and database technologies.
Experience with Kafka or other messaging technologies.
Good understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevOps.
Strong Agile/Scrum experience.
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and mentoring skills.
