As we expand our presence across India to support growing demand in critical minerals, minerals processing and project development, we are seeking a Director of Development – India to shape our market growth, deepen client relationships and strengthen business capability across one of the world’s most important mining and industrial markets. Based in Navi Mumbai, this senior leadership role reports to the Vice President – Australia East and Asia and forms part of the regional leadership team.

In this newly created role, the successful candidate will provide strategic, commercial and operational leadership across business development, project development, client engagement and market expansion,



while strengthening Sedgman’s position as a trusted partner in the minerals and resources sector.

With India identified as a key growth market, you will play a central role in building lasting client relationships, growing a sustainable prospect pipeline and converting market opportunities into high-quality, commercially viable projects.

In This Role, You Will

Lead Sedgman’s business strategy and market growth across India, providing leadership across development, client engagement, commercial performance and operational execution.
Develop and convert a strong pipeline of opportunities, driving sustainable order book growth, commercial quality and disciplined risk management.
Strengthen Sedgman’s market position across India within minerals processing, mining, critical minerals and industrial project development.
Build trusted relationships with clients, partners, industry bodies, government stakeholders and strategic collaborators.
