Role Purpose
Responsible for ensuring protected, reliable and efficient operation of plant machinery, utilities and supporting equipment through effective preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, condition monitoring and continuous improvement.
The role will support production by improving equipment reliability, reducing downtime and ensuring maintenance activities meet food safety, GMP, electrical/machinery safety and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
1. Equipment Maintenance & Reliability
Carry out preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of production and packing equipment.
Maintain equipment in basic condition and identify deterioration before failure.
Ensure timely closure of breakdowns and recurring equipment issues.
Conduct root cause analysis for major and repetitive breakdowns and implement permanent corrective actions.
Improve equipment uptime, MTBF and MTTR.
Maintain lubrication, inspection and condition-monitoring schedules.
Support development of equipment maintenance standards and checklists.
Prepare and execute daily, weekly, monthly and annual preventive maintenance schedules.
Ensure PM compliance as per defined plan.
Track overdue maintenance actions and ensure timely closure.
Review effectiveness of PM activities and modify frequencies based on breakdown history and equipment condition.
Prevention Focus
Identify failure risks before breakdowns occur.
Eliminate repeat failures through structured RCA and action tracking.
Shift maintenance effort from reactive to planned maintenance.

Support operation and maintenance of plant utilities including:
Air compressors and compressed-air systems
RO / water-treatment systems
Pumps and water-distribution systems
HVAC / ventilation and exhaus
