Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role based in Kochi, with flexibility for partial work from home. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing raw footage into polished video content for ads, social media, and other digital channels, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and campaign objectives. Day-to-day tasks include organizing and trimming clips, adding transitions and effects, synchronizing audio, applying color correction and grading, and integrating motion graphics and visual elements. The role also involves collaborating with directors, producers, and designers to refine concepts, maintaining project files and asset libraries, and meeting deadlines across multiple concurrent projects. The Video Editor is expected to stay updated on editing trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve output quality.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production.




Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading for visual consistency and mood enhancement.
Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging visual elements and overlays.
Proficiency with industry-standard editing and motion tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software).
Strong visual storytelling abilities, attention to detail, and an understanding of pacing and rhythm in video content.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a hybrid work environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Prior experience in advertising, digital media, or entertainment projects is an advantage.
A relevant diploma or degree in film, media, visual communication, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory if supported by a robust portfolio.
