Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Project Head – Waste-to-Energy (WTE) to take overall responsibility for the successful management, execution, operations, and performance of the WTE project at PCMC, Pune.
The incumbent will lead multidisciplinary teams and ensure achievement of project objectives related to plant operations, power generation, project performance, safety, statutory compliance, cost control, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
Overall responsibility for end-to-end management and performance of the WTE project.
Lead project execution, commissioning, operations, maintenance, and stabilization activities.
Ensure achievement of operational, financial, safety, quality, and project KPIs.
Monitor plant performance, availability, efficiency, power generation, and equipment reliability.




Manage day-to-day operations of the WTE facility and ensure uninterrupted plant performance.
Develop and monitor project plans, budgets, manpower requirements, and operational strategies.
Control CAPEX and OPEX and ensure effective utilization of project resources.
Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams across Operations, Maintenance, Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Safety, Environment, Commercial, and Administration.
Coordinate with EPC contractors, OEMs, consultants, vendors, clients, and other stakeholders.
Ensure timely completion of project activities as per approved schedules and technical requirements.
Maintain effective coordination with PCMC, government authorities, statutory bodies, and other external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with applicable environmental, statutory, regulatory, and safety requirements.
