Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Mumbai. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including maintaining general ledgers, recording transactions, and reconciling bank, payment gateway, and PMS-related accounts. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, tracking receivables and payables, processing vendor and client payments, and supporting accurate revenue recognition for banquet and room bookings. The role also involves preparing periodic financial reports and statements, assisting with budgeting and forecasts, and supporting audits and compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations. The Accountant will collaborate closely with operations, sales, and technology teams to ensure that financial data from integrated systems is accurate, timely, and aligned with business objectives.
Qualifications
Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills, including general ledger management, bank reconciliation, and financial statement preparation.
Proficiency in invoicing, billing, accounts receivable,



and accounts payable processes, ideally in a technology or hospitality-focused environment.
Experience working with accounting software and ERP/POS/PMS integrations, along with solid Excel skills for reporting and analysis.
Knowledge of local tax regulations, compliance requirements, and audit support practices relevant to businesses operating in India.
Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and accuracy in high-volume transaction environments.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic setting.
Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; qualified certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA) are an advantage.
