Roles and Responsibilities
Process monthly payroll and ensure accurate salary calculations, deductions, overtime, allowances, and reimbursements.
Maintain and verify employee and labour attendance records, including site-wise attendance.
Maintain statutory labour attendance registers, wage registers, muster rolls, overtime registers, and other mandatory records.
Handle statutory compliance related to EPF, ESIC, Labour Welfare Fund, Professional Tax, and other applicable labour laws.
Ensure compliance with Labour Licence, BOCW, Contract Labour regulations, Minimum Wages, Payment of Wages, and other construction-industry requirements.
Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors for labour compliance documentation and attendance records.
Maintain employee and labour records, salary data, statutory challans, returns, and compliance documents.
Assist in labour inspections, statutory audits, and government department visits.
Coordinate with Finance, Site HR, Project Managers, and contractors regarding payroll and labour-related matters.
Keep updated with changes in labour laws and statutory requirements.
Requirements
Qualification: Graduate / MBA in HR / PGDHRM or equivalent qualification.
Experience: 3–6 years of experience in HR Payroll and Compliance, preferably in the Construction / Infrastructure industry.
Strong knowledge of payroll processing and statutory labour compliance.
Must have experience maintaining labour attendance registers and statutory registers.
Knowledge of EPF, ESIC, BOCW, CLRA, Labour License, Minimum Wages, Wage Registers and Contractor Compliance.
Positive knowledge of MS Excel and payroll/HRMS software.
Ability to manage multiple site locations and coordinate with site teams and contractors.
Preferred: Immediate joiners or candidates available to join at short notice.
