Responsibilities, aka, what we’d like you to deliver :

Associate Director – Business Finance | Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Planning & Analysis
Own AOP, QOP, MOP, forecasting, and long-term financial planning in partnership with business leadership.
Provide strategic insights, scenario analysis, and recommendations to drive growth, profitability, and informed decision-making.
Lead performance reviews, highlighting key risks, opportunities, and corrective actions.
2. Strategic Business Partnering
Act as a strategic finance partner to senior business leaders, co-owning business targets and outcomes.
Drive a deep understanding of business operations and key value drivers to identify growth, profitability, and productivity opportunities.
Challenge assumptions and influence decisions through strong commercial and financial insights.
3. Category & Commercial Finance
Lead financial strategy across categories, with ownership of profitability, pricing, margins, inventory,



and supplier economics.
Partner with Commercial, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to optimize margins, inventory, and working capital.
Drive initiatives to improve category profitability, cash conversion, and overall capital efficiency.
4. Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team with strong commercial and analytical capabilities.
Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, collaboration, and business ownership.
Drive process simplification, automation, and finance transformation initiatives.

Qualifications:
● CA or MBA with relevant experience of 4-6 years
● Solid experience in the business finance domain including budgeting, ROI, variance analysis, stakeholder & team management.
● Demonstrated experience in revenue planning, pricing, supply chain finance and category management.
● Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
