Role Description The Junior Designer will work full time on-site at our Thane facility, collaborating closely with engineering, production, and quality teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and refining technical designs and drawings, preparing specifications for moulds and related components, and ensuring designs meet functional, safety, and manufacturability requirements.

The role involves translating customer needs into accurate technical documentation, reviewing and supporting design changes based on testing and feedback. The Designer will also coordinate with production to resolve design issues, maintain design standards and libraries, and contribute to continuous improvement in design processes and product performance.

Qualifications




Candidates should possess strong Technical Design skills with the ability to create exact technical drawings and specifications.
Candidates should possess foundational understanding of Architecture or structural design principles to support robust and functional mould and machine designs.
Proficiency in CAD or similar design software, with the ability to work from concept to production-ready designs.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented approach, with the ability to interpret technical requirements and industry standards.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
Relevant technical education in mechanical design, industrial design, apparel/technical design, engineering, or a related field.
Prior experience in industrial product design, mould design, or manufacturing environments is highly beneficial.
