Role Summary
Cafe Athyeka is looking for an experienced and commercially robust Finance Controller to manage and control the overall finance function for its 6 café outlets. The role will be responsible for financial reporting, outlet-wise profitability, cost control, budgeting, inventory and cash controls, compliance, and strengthening financial processes across the business.
The candidate should have strong experience in F&B;, restaurants, cafés, hospitality, retail, or other multi-unit businesses and should be able to work closely with Operations and Management to improve profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the overall finance and accounts function for all 6 outlets.
Prepare and analyse outlet-wise P&L;, MIS, and profitability reports.
Monitor daily sales, collections, expenses, purchases, and payments.
Control and analyse food cost, beverage cost, labour cost, and operating expenses.
Track Budget vs Actual and highlight financial variances.
Monitor inventory, stock variances, wastage, and possible leakages.
Ensure proper cash, POS, bank, UPI, card,



and delivery-platform reconciliations.
Review vendor payments, outstanding balances, and purchase-related controls.
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash-flow reports.
Ensure timely GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance in coordination with relevant consultants.
Establish and strengthen financial SOPs and internal controls across all outlets.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and profitability improvement.
Work closely with the Operations Head and Outlet Managers to improve financial performance.
Present key financial insights and recommendations to Management.
