Sony Pictures Networks India is looking for a high-performing Group Head – Ad Sales to drive advertising revenue for its Hindi GEC portfolio, Sony SAB and SET. The role will be responsible for leading revenue strategy, building and strengthening relationships with key advertisers and media agencies, identifying new business opportunities, and maximizing monetization through FCT, sponsorships and high-impact properties.

Position Specification
Education: Post Graduate Diploma in Management (or equivalent), preferably in Marketing / Sales / Business Administration
Experience: 12+ years of experience in Television/Media Ad Sales, with a strong track record of owning and delivering large-scale advertising revenue for leading brands. Proven expertise in developing and executing revenue strategies, driving FCT, sponsorships and high-impact properties, and growing key accounts and market share. Strong and established relationships with senior stakeholders across leading advertisers and media agencies, with a deep understanding of the broadcast advertising ecosystem, BARC viewership metrics,



revenue planning and market dynamics. Experience in leading strategic revenue mandates, managing high-value client relationships and driving cross-functional business initiatives will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Planning
Lead the sales strategy and revenue planning for the Hindi GEC portfolio, aligned with channel priorities and business objectives.
Provide market insights, revenue forecasts and growth opportunities to drive business performance.
Leverage the content calendar, marquee programming, festivals and special initiatives to identify and monetize high-impact properties and sponsorship opportunities.
Monitor market trends, advertiser spends and competitive activity to identify recent revenue opportunities.
Drive strategic initiatives to strengthen the channels' market position and maximize revenue potential.
