About the Role
We are looking for a highly experienced Automated Test Engineer / SDET to join the FLEX product team. The application is frontend-heavy, supported by REST APIs and CSV-based financial data deliveries.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in UI automation, API automation, performance testing, Java, and data/file validation. Experience working with large datasets and financial or data-intensive applications will be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain robust UI automation frameworks for web applications.
• Automate end-to-end scenarios using tools such as Selenium, Selenide, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent.
• Develop and maintain REST API automation and integration test suites.
• Build automated validation for CSV files, financial data, and large data deliveries.
• Perform file comparison, data reconciliation, and data integrity validation across large datasets.
• Design and execute performance, load,



and stress tests for frontend and API components.
• Develop automation solutions using Java and relevant testing frameworks.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and report defects with clear technical evidence.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and other QA engineers to improve product quality.
• Contribute to test strategy, automation framework improvements, test coverage, and quality engineering practices.
Must-Have Skills
• 7+ years of experience in Software Testing / Test Automation / SDET roles.
• Strong hands-on experience in UI / Frontend Automation using one or more:
o Selenium
o Selenide
o Playwright
o Cypress
o Equivalent web automation frameworks
• Strong programming experience in Java.
• Hands-on experience with REST API Testing / API Automation.
• Solid experience in CSV validation
