Role Description The Senior Accountant at Encircle Group will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable review, and reconciliation of bank and balance sheet accounts. This role will prepare and analyze financial statements, support budgeting and forecasting, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.



The Senior Accountant will monitor cost allocations related to logistics and fleet operations, assist with audit preparations, and recommend process improvements for stronger financial controls. Collaboration with operations and management teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making is essential. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, along with advanced MS Excel skills.
Ability to perform detailed reconciliations, variance analysis, and cost accounting related to logistics or operations.
Experience ensuring compliance with local tax laws, statutory regulations, and internal controls.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to accuracy and timelines.
