o Identifying matters for filing 138, SARFASEI and other legal action in
consultaion
o Handle all legal matters in debt recovery through SERFASEI action
o Assist in planning the strategies and procedures to be followed in debt
recovery and maintain and prepare legal MIS for the assigned area, RBI MIS while
providing quarterly reports on Legal recovery.
o Attend arbitration, section 9, execution, court receiver meetings, court
receiver execution and help draft section SERFASEI notices , possession and sale
notices, section 9 application, arbitration claim petition, suit for redemption
of mortgage.
o Handle all legal, SARFAESI & compliance matters of the company and
co-ordinate with external vendors/agencies for execution of different stage of
SARFAESI Act.




o Maintain and secure guard collaterals which are in the company’s possession
post surrender or repossession after due adherence of norms under SARFAESI Act.
o Co-ordinate with enforcement agencies and local police while taking
physical possession of mortgaged property and ensure effective steps are taken
in furtherance of the cases to get them resolved within the legal framework as
advised.
o Keep abreast of all latest developments/trends in local law/best practices
with respect to collections, security creation and loan documentation.
