Pruf is an honest science-first skincare brand launching in early 2027, backed by marquee investors and sharks.
We exist because of our community of ~300k @theskintellectualgirl - people who read the INCI list, ask for the study behind the claim, and refuse to take a brand’s word for anything. Pruf is what happens when that scrutiny is turned inward and made the standard we build to.
Our category has a habit. Brands make claims, and the consumer alone carries the cost of those claims being wrong. Timelines get inflated. Evidence gets borrowed from ingredient suppliers. Nobody is accountable when the product doesn’t do what the label said. Our promise is the opposite of that: no miracles, only Pruf.

Role Description

Core Team Member - NPD (New Product Development)

You own what Pruf builds next.
This is a core team seat on the product side. You decide which products deserve to exist, you direct the formulators who build them, and you own the evidence that proves they work.



Our products are developed with a panel of external formulators and validated by independent testing partners - you set the standard all of them are held to.
The community that gave us our reason to exist will be the first to check your work. That is the point of the job.

What you’ll own
Deciding what we build. Reading the community, the category and the white space, and coming back with a case for what deserves a development slot.
Directing formulators. Writing the brief, setting acceptance criteria before work starts, pushing labs past their first answer, and rejecting what doesn’t transparent the bar. You will say no more often than yes.
Testing partners. Working across in-vivo, in-vitro, safety, stability and community testing; owning day-to-day communication and reading every protocol closely enough to argue with it.
Product lifecycle. Closing the feedback loop after launch. What users actually experienced versus what we claimed and taking products to v2 on the back of it.
