Company is creating milestones in the online grocery market and has recently re- hauled its supply chains across cities to fulfil a majority of customer orders faster. The company’s operations have expanded to 30 cities in India, recording about 15 million customer orders per month.
Purpose of the role:
To drive the identification, evaluation, and acquisition of real estate properties within the assigned city or region, ensuring alignment with the organization's expansion and operational goals for dark stores/warehouses. The role is responsible for maintaining robust relationships with stakeholders and ensuring timely property closures to meet business needs.
Key responsibilities:
· Identify suitable properties within the city that align with business needs, ensuring adherence to established coordinates, guidelines, and budget constraints.
· Assist in property negotiations with landlords and brokers,
ensuring the best terms and timely closure of deals in line with business timelines and budgets.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with local brokers and real estate agencies to ensure a consistent and robust pipeline of properties for future expansion.
· Ensure proper documentation of all property agreements, contracts, and transactions.
· Collaborate cross-functional teams (e.g., Projects, Operations, Finance) to ensure a smooth handover and operational readiness of the properties.
· Regularly assess regional real estate market trends, identify opportunities, and mitigate risks to support informed decision-making and implementation of best practices.
· Address and resolve conflicts or issues with landlords, brokers, and other stakeholders to maintain smooth operations and relationships.
· Work alongside and support the regional real estate team to ensure alignment with overall business goals and expansion objectives.
