The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing new business
opportunities in the solar energy sector, particularly in Solar EPC projects within the Commercial & Industrial (C&I;)
segment. The role requires strong knowledge of the renewable energy market, client relationship management,
and the ability to drive business development strategies from concept to execution.
Note:
Candidates must have experience in closing Solar EPC projects of 300 kW and above in the C&I; segment under
CAPEX / OPEX models. Projects below this capacity will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
1. Market Research and Strategy Development
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements in the solar EPC sector.
Develop strategies to enter recent markets and increase market share in existing markets.
Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships within the renewable energy industry.
2. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including clients, investors,



project
developers, and government agencies.
Identify and target potential clients in the Commercial & Industrial (C&I;) solar segment.
Lead negotiations and finalize agreements to secure Solar EPC contracts.
3. Project Development and Coordination
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure alignment between client requirements and project execution
capabilities.
Lead the preparation of technical proposals, commercial bids, and client presentations.
Coordinate with engineering and project management teams for smooth transition from project
acquisition to execution.
4. Sales and Revenue Generation
Achieve defined sales targets, revenue goals, and profitability objectives.
Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to project closure.
Prepare sales forecasts, business development plans, and market expansion strategies.
