Role Description This is a full time, on-site Environmental Engineer role based in Karur. The Environmental Engineer will monitor and improve environmental performance across textile manufacturing processes, including air, water, and waste management activities. Daily responsibilities include conducting environmental impact assessments, ensuring compliance with local and national regulations, coordinating wastewater treatment operations, and implementing waste reduction and recycling initiatives.
The role also involves preparing technical reports, maintaining documentation for audits, collaborating with production and maintenance teams to design sustainable solutions, and supporting management in environmental certifications and continuous improvement projects. The Environmental Engineer will serve as a key resource for environmental consulting within the company, providing guidance on best practices and risk mitigation.
Qualifications
Ability to ensure and manage Environmental Compliance with applicable laws, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Hands-on experience or strong knowledge in Wastewater Treatment processes and related monitoring and control systems.
Skills in conducting Environmental Impact Assessment studies and preparing associated documentation and reports.
