The role:
As the Director of Engineering at Truecaller, you will be a pivotal leader, driving technical excellence and ensuring the successful delivery of our products and services within your designated department.



Acting as a strategic partner to the Product to co-create the TfB roadmap, ensuring we balance rapid feature innovation with technical sustainability.This role demands a unique blend of technical prowess, strategic vision, and leadership acumen. You will be responsible for shaping the technical landscape of Truecaller's operations, influencing product development, engineering practices, and overall technological innovation.
What you’ll do:
Technical Leadership:

You will be the primary technical authority for the department, setting the technical direction and providing guidance to engineering teams.
Shift the engineering focus from 'shipping features' to 'driving business outcomes,' partnering with Product Managers to define and track KPIs for the Department.
Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging engineers to explore new ideas and technologies to enhance Truecaller's offerings and maintain our competitive advantage.
