Educational Qualification
Post Graduate / B.E. / MBA from a recognized University/Institution.
Note: Post Graduate Diploma will not be considered as a Post Graduate qualification.
Experience
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in a reputed organization, PSU, Autonomous Body, or Sports Authority of India (SAI).
Candidates should have excellent knowledge of office productivity software, including MS Office, and should be proficient in preparing presentations and other qualified documents.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate may be responsible for:
Conducting research, analysis and preparation of reports related to assigned areas.
Collecting, compiling and analysing relevant data and information.
Preparing presentations, briefing notes, reports and other official documents.
Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, including athletes, sports federations and organizations,
as applicable.
Supporting various sports-related programmes, initiatives and projects.
Maintaining relevant records, databases and documentation.
Providing research and analytical support to senior management.
Performing any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time.
Desirable Experience
A. Research Officer (Sports)
Experience of working with athletes, sports federations and/or sports organizations will be desirable.
Knowledge and understanding of the sports ecosystem and related stakeholders will be an added advantage.
B. Research Officer – Resource Mobilization
Experience in fundraising / resource mobilization will be desirable.
Experience of working with athletes, sports federations and/or sports organizations will be an added advantage.
Exposure to stakeholder engagement, fundraising initiatives and resource mobilization activities will be preferred.
