Job Description: Senior BI QA Lead
Location: Chennai/Hybrid
The Senior Business Intelligence QA Tester is responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and reliability of enterprise reporting, analytics, and data integration solutions. This role focuses on testing Tableau dashboards, SSRS reports, and SSIS data integration processes to ensure business requirements are met and data quality is maintained throughout the reporting lifecycle. The position works closely with Business Analysts, Data Engineers, BI Developers, and business stakeholders to identify defects, validate data integrity, and support the successful delivery of business intelligence solutions. The Senior BI QA Tester also drives testing standards, promotes best practices, and contributes to continuous improvements in data quality and reporting reliability.
Technical Skills
Extensive experience testing Tableau dashboards and analytics solutions.
Robust experience validating SSRS reports and report subscriptions.
Experience testing SSIS packages, ETL workflows, and data movement processes.




Advanced SQL skills for data validation, reconciliation, and root cause analysis.
Experience working with data warehouses, relational databases, and dimensional data models.
Strong understanding of data integration, ETL, ELT, and reporting architectures.
Experience using Azure DevOps for test management, defect tracking, and Agile delivery support.
Experience with API validation and interface testing is desirable.
Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server, Azure Data Services, and cloud-based BI platforms.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills
Ability to analyse complex business requirements and translate them into detailed test scenarios.
Strong investigative and troubleshooting skills for identifying data quality and reporting issues.
Ability to perform detailed root cause analysis across data pipelines and reporting solutions.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and consistency.
