Job Title: Software Engineering Manager
Role Purpose
A software engineering manager oversees the design and development of software applications and develops high-performance software solutions optimized for Fujitsu's next-generation processor technologies, which help solve real-world challenges facing society and businesses across different industries.
The Software Engineering Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs and ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met for developing innovative advanced solutions and services to support business outcomes.
Responsibilities
Lead and grow a high-performing engineering team focused on Agentic AI and intelligent software solutions.
Drive the design, development, optimization, and delivery of AI agents, AI-powered applications, and software platforms.
Improve performance,
scalability, and efficiency of AI workloads across modern compute environments.
Evaluate AI models, frameworks, inference engines, and deployment strategies for production use.
Enable intelligent workflows leveraging LLMs, multimodal AI, retrieval, and tool integration.
Collaborate with product, research, and engineering teams to deliver creative solutions.
Contribute to technology strategy, roadmaps, and architectural decisions.
Foster technical excellence through mentoring, best practices, and Agile development.
Support hiring, team growth, and capability development.
Engage with open-source communities, industry partners, and academic collaborators.
