Role Description The Senior Test Engineer – Design For Test and Yield Improvement is a full time, on-site role based in Bengaluru South. This role focuses on developing and implementing Design For Test (DFT) strategies to enhance product testability, reliability, and yield across semiconductor designs. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and reviewing test architectures, creating and optimizing test patterns,



analyzing test data to identify yield and quality issues, and driving corrective actions with design and process engineering teams. The person in this role will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, support test plan development for new products, and contribute to continuous improvement of test methodologies, tools, and documentation. The role also involves mentoring junior engineers, ensuring adherence to industry standards, and contributing to best practices in DFT and yield optimization.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in Design For Test (DFT) methodologies, including scan insertion, BIST, boundary scan, and test coverage optimization.
Hands-on experience with semiconductor test development, ATE platforms, test program creation, and test pattern validation.
Proficiency in yield analysis, data interpretation, failure analysis workflows, and driving yield improvement initiatives.
