Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Estimation & Costing Engineer with robust knowledge of structural steel and heavy fabrication.

Key Responsibilities:
Study RFQs, BOQs, drawings, specifications and scope of work.
Prepare quantity take-offs and structural steel tonnage calculations.
Estimate material, labor, consumables, fabrication, machinery, transportation and erection costs.
Prepare detailed job-wise cost sheets and rate analysis.
Compare supplier/vendor rates and calculate fabrication cost per kg/ton.
Determine minimum selling price and expected profit margins.
Track estimated vs.



actual project costs and identify cost overruns.
Coordinate with commercial, fabrication and project teams.

Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of structural steel and heavy fabrication.
Good understanding of fabrication processes and welding.
Ability to read drawings and BOMs.
Strong Excel and costing skills.
Good commercial and negotiation skills.
Ability to work under tender deadlines.

Preferred: AutoCAD knowledge, ERP/estimation software experience and exposure to EPC, refinery, chemical, power or infrastructure projects.
Salary: ₹40,000 or above per month, depending on experience and suitability.
