Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced ETL/Data Validation Test Engineer to perform data testing, validation, reconciliation, data quality checks, test automation, and release validation across modern Azure-based data ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities
Perform ETL testing and data validation across source, staging, and target systems.
Develop and execute SQL queries for data validation, reconciliation, and data quality checks.
Validate data transformations, mappings, business rules, and end-to-end data pipelines.
Perform source-to-target reconciliation and identify data discrepancies.
Conduct data quality testing, including completeness, accuracy, consistency, and integrity checks.
Work with Databricks for data validation and testing of data processing workflows.
Perform testing across Azure data ecosystems and cloud-based data platforms.




Develop and maintain automated test scripts/frameworks for data and ETL validation.
Support release validation and production data verification.

Required Skills
Strong experience in ETL Testing / Data Testing.
Strong hands-on expertise in SQL.
Experience with Databricks.
Good understanding of Azure data platforms and data ecosystems.
Experience in data reconciliation and data quality testing.
Knowledge of ETL/data pipeline concepts and data warehouse testing.
Experience with test automation for data/ETL validation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
Knowledge of Azure Data Lake/Storage and cloud data warehouses.
Experience with PySpark or Python for test automation.
Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
Experience testing large-scale data pipelines and distributed data processing systems.
