Exchange Four is hiring an SEO specialist.
You'll get the client's ideal client profile and a specific outline of the strategy — your job is to execute it, adapt as needed, and solve problems without being managed through it. We're looking for someone who can run a client's SEO from onboarding to delivered results independently, across multiple accounts at once, without needing the plan re-explained or the work double-checked.
What you'll actually do:
Run full technical SEO audits — site speed, crawlability, indexation, mobile-friendliness, schema markup, Core Web Vitals — and turn findings into a prioritized fix list
Conduct keyword research and mapping, and build content plans around real search intent, not just volume
Own on-page optimization: title tags, meta descriptions, headers, internal linking, content structure
Handle backlink strategy end to end — outreach, guest posting, link building campaigns, and backlink audits/disavows for toxic or spammy links
Monitor and manage local SEO where relevant — Google Business Profile optimization, citations, local link building




Track rankings, organic traffic, and conversions, and tie movement back to specific actions taken
Build and deliver monthly client reports that explain what happened and why, in plain language
Coordinate with content writers or write SEO-optimized content/briefs yourself when needed
Flag algorithm updates or ranking drops proactively and adjust strategy before the client asks
Debug technical issues yourself — broken redirects, crawl errors, duplicate content, indexation problems — instead of escalating them
Manage multiple client SEO accounts simultaneously, each at a different stage of the strategy
What we're looking for:
Real experience running SEO for clients, not just personal or portfolio sites
Hands-on backlink/link-building experience — outreach at scale, guest post placement, and the disavow process for cleaning up bad links
Comfortable with SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar tools for research,
