Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Italian Origin Chef based in Delhi, India. The Italian Chef will plan and prepare a variety of authentic Italian dishes, including pastas, pizzas, risottos, sauces, and desserts, while maintaining consistent taste, presentation, and portion standards. Daily responsibilities include organizing the kitchen, managing mise en place, supervising cooking processes, and ensuring adherence to food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness requirements.



The role involves collaborating with hotel management to design and update menus, monitoring inventory and ordering ingredients, managing food cost and waste, and training kitchen team members on Italian cooking techniques. The chef will also interact with service staff to handle special dietary requests and support an excellent guest dining experience.
Qualifications
Solid knowledge of Italian cuisine, including classic and regional dishes, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
Proficiency in kitchen operations such as food preparation, plating, portion control, and maintaining high culinary standards.
Experience with food safety, sanitation practices, and compliance with local health and hygiene regulations.
Ability to plan menus, manage inventory, control food costs, and minimize waste.
Skill in leading and training kitchen staff, coordinating workloads, and working effectively with front-of-house teams.
