Role Description The Billing Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The Billing Engineer will be responsible for preparing and managing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), verifying measurements, and ensuring accurate billing for projects. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with site teams for quantity verification, performing rate analysis, updating billing systems, and preparing periodic reports and statements.



The role also involves supporting quantity surveying activities, checking contractor bills, reconciling quantities, and assisting in cost control and budget tracking. The Billing Engineer will work closely with project managers, finance teams, and other stakeholders to maintain precise documentation and support smooth project execution.
Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong BOQ preparation and Quantity Surveying skills.
Candidates should possess proficiency in Billing Systems and related documentation processes.
Candidates should possess sound Analytical Skills and the ability to interpret project data.
Candidates should possess experience in Rate Analysis and cost evaluation for construction activities.
Relevant degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Experience in construction, infrastructure, or related industry billing roles.
Attention to detail, solid numerical aptitude, and good MS Excel
