Certification: Valid Boiler Operator Certificate / Boiler Attendant Certificate as applicableKey Responsibilities
Operate and monitor boilers, steam systems, pumps, valves, and associated equipment.
Maintain required steam pressure, temperature, water level, and fuel consumption.
Conduct routine inspection of boiler equipment and identify abnormalities.
Monitor boiler feed water, chemical dosing, blowdown, and water treatment parameters.
Perform boiler start-up, shutdown, and changeover procedures as per SOP.
Maintain daily boiler operation and parameter logs.
Check fuel, water, steam pressure,



and other operating parameters regularly.
Carry out routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenance.
Coordinate with maintenance teams for breakdowns and equipment issues.
Ensure compliance with statutory boiler regulations and site safety procedures.
Follow all PPE, fire safety, emergency response, and permit-to-work requirements.
Report leaks, pressure variations, abnormal sounds, or other unsafe conditions immediately.
Maintain housekeeping around the boiler room and utility area.
Support periodic boiler inspection, testing, and statutory certification activities.
