Role Description The Junior Java Developer role at Fidrak Technologies is remote or at the client location. In this role, the developer will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications, working closely with senior engineers and product teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code, supporting microservices and Spring-based services, debugging and resolving issues, and participating in code reviews. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement new features, integrate APIs, and contribute to testing and documentation. The Junior Java Developer will be expected to learn and adopt best practices, follow established development workflows, and support ongoing improvements to software performance and reliability.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Programming and Java skills, including understanding of object-oriented concepts and basic design principles.
Candidates should possess foundational Software Development skills,



including coding, debugging, unit testing, and working with version control tools (e.g., Git).
Candidates should possess skills in Spring Framework and related Spring modules commonly used in enterprise Java applications.
Candidates should possess basic knowledge of Microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and service integration concepts.
Relevant skills such as familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL), build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle), and IDEs (e.g., IntelliJ, Eclipse) are beneficial.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
Solid problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment are required.
