Role Description The Business Head for App Based Lending will lead the strategy, development, and execution of Vector Finance’s digital and app-based lending business, Vector Blink. This is a full-time, in office role based in Rajarhat, responsible for driving product design, technology integration, and customer experience for mobile lending solutions. The role includes overseeing P&L; for the app-based lending vertical, managing risk and compliance, and ensuring alignment with NBFC and regulatory guidelines. Day-to-day activities involve coordinating with product, technology, operations, credit, and collections teams; monitoring performance metrics; optimizing digital onboarding and underwriting processes; and enhancing portfolio quality. The Business Head will also build and manage key partnerships, lead market research and competitive analysis, and provide leadership, mentoring, and performance management for the app lending team.

Qualifications

Strong experience in digital lending, fintech, or NBFC operations, with proven ability to lead app-based or technology-driven credit products.




Demonstrated expertise in business strategy, P&L; management, and growth planning for financial services or consumer lending.
Solid understanding of credit risk, underwriting processes, collections frameworks, and regulatory compliance in the Indian financial sector.
Experience working with product and technology teams on mobile app design, digital customer journeys, and data-driven decision-making.
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.
Ability to analyze performance data, define KPIs, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and portfolio quality.
Prior experience in microfinance, rural or semi-urban lending, or financial inclusion initiatives is highly beneficial.
