Key Responsibilities
Identify and generate recent business prospects in the freight forwarding and logistics sector.
Generate leads through cold calling, emails, referrals, networking, and other business development activities.
Connect with potential clients and understand their logistics and freight requirements.
Present and explain the company's freight forwarding services to prospective clients.
Build and maintain robust, long-term relationships with customers.
Follow up with leads and prospects and convert them into customers.
Coordinate with internal operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
Negotiate with clients and work towards closing business deals.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales and revenue targets.
Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, client interactions, and sales activities.
