Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Accountant with strong hands-on knowledge of Tally, purchase accounting, GST , and day-to-day financial operations. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounts, processing purchase entries, handling GST-related activities, and supporting the finance team with regular reporting and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

/n

/n

/n
Maintain day-to-day accounting records in Tally ERP/Tally Prime.

/n
Record and verify purchase invoices, sales invoices, expenses, receipts, and payments.

/n
Handle purchase accounting, including invoice verification and vendor entries.

/n
Maintain accounts payable and vendor ledgers.

/n
Perform bank, vendor, and ledger reconciliations.

/n
Prepare and maintain GST-related records and documentation.

/n
Assist with GST return preparation and filing, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.

/n
Verify GSTIN, tax rates, HSN/SAC codes, and input tax credit (ITC) eligibility.

/n




Reconcile GSTR-2B with purchase records and identify discrepancies.

/n
Coordinate with vendors regarding invoice and GST-related discrepancies.

/n
Maintain proper documentation for audits and statutory requirements.

/n
Assist in monthly closing and preparation of accounting reports.

/n
Support the senior finance team with other accounting and GST-related activities.

/n

Required Skills & Qualifications

/n

/n

/n
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.

/n
3–4 years of relevant accounting experience.

/n
Robust practical knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime.

/n
Valuable knowledge of GST and taxation basics.

/n
Hands-on experience in purchase accounting and vendor reconciliation.

/n
Knowledge of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B and ITC reconciliation.

/n
Good knowledge of MS Excel.

/n
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

/n
Valuable communication and coordination skills.

/n
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

/n

Preferred Candidate

/n

/n

Candidates with experience in GST compliance, purchase accounting, Tally, vendor management, and reconciliation will be preferred.
