Role Description The Sea Freight Import Operations Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru South. This role manages end-to-end sea freight import operations, including coordinating with overseas agents, shipping lines, and customers to ensure timely and accurate movement of cargo. Daily responsibilities include preparing and verifying import documentation, tracking shipments, monitoring vessel schedules, and resolving operational issues.



The specialist will liaise with customs brokers and internal teams, update systems with shipment status, and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards. The role also involves handling customer queries, providing status updates, and supporting continuous improvement in operational processes and service quality.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of sea freight import processes, documentation, and international shipping practices.
Experience coordinating with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and related stakeholders.
Proficiency with logistics or freight management systems and basic MS Office tools.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for customer and stakeholder interactions.
