About the role
We are looking for a sales-focused and target-oriented Business Development Executive to join our team and promote our TallyConnects Software.
This role suits candidates who enjoy speaking with customers, generating leads, running product demonstrations, following up with prospects and closing sales.
We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong sales mindset. Knowledge of Tally, accounting, GST or Excel is an added advantage.
Key responsibilities
Generate and qualify leads through calls, WhatsApp, email and other channels.
Contact potential customers and understand their accounting and data-import requirements.
Explain the benefits and features of our TallyConnects Software.
Conduct online and phone-based product demonstrations.
Follow up consistently with prospective customers.
Convert qualified leads into paying customers.
Achieve monthly sales and revenue targets.
Maintain accurate lead and follow-up information in CRM/Excel.
Build relationships with CAs, accountants, businesses and Tally users.
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.




Coordinate with the technical and support team when required.
Collect customer feedback and communicate market requirements to management.
Ideal candidate
We are looking for someone with a genuine sales mindset, not just an accounting background.
Preferred qualifications
Any Graduate (B.Com / M.Com preferred).
1–4 years of sales or business development experience preferred.
Experience in software, SaaS, Tally, accounting software or B2B sales is an advantage.
Valuable communication and convincing skills.
Comfortable making a high volume of customer calls.
Strong follow-up ability.
Target-oriented and motivated by incentives.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and accounting concepts.
Tally knowledge is an advantage but not mandatory.
