About the Role
Electro Power Enterprise is looking for a practical and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer with strong knowledge of AutoCAD and mechanical manufacturing drawings.
The selected candidate will work on the design and development of induction furnace-related components, copper coils, water-cooled components, furnace structures, refractory assemblies, and other industrial spare parts.
The ideal candidate should not only know AutoCAD commands but should also understand how a component is manufactured, fabricated, assembled, and measured.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate 2D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD.
Prepare manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, and General Arrangement (GA) drawings.
Prepare drawings for induction furnace coils and related mechanical components.
Prepare drawings for copper components, water-cooled cables,



furnace structures, and industrial spare parts.
Take physical measurements of existing components and prepare as-built drawings.
Convert rough sketches and verbal requirements into proper manufacturing drawings.
Prepare detailed dimensions, sections, views, and material specifications.
Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM).
Modify existing drawings according to customer and production requirements.
Maintain drawing numbers, revisions, and engineering documentation.
Coordinate with the production, fabrication, purchase, and service teams.
Visit the shop floor when required to understand manufacturing requirements and solve drawing-related issues.
Ensure that drawings are practical and suitable for manufacturing and assembly.
Assist in improving existing product designs.
Required Qualification
Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
Freshers with excellent practical AutoCAD knowle
