Role & responsibilities
Medication Administration: Giving cardiac medications and observing patients for side effects or changes in condition.
Procedure Assistance: Helping doctors with diagnostic tests like stress tests, echocardiograms, and cardiac catheterizations.
Pre- and Post-Operative Care: Preparing patients for heart surgeries and managing their recovery.
Patient Education: Teaching patients and their families about heart-healthy diets, exercise, and lifestyle changes.
Emergency Response: Performing CPR, defibrillation, and other lifesaving interventions during cardiac arrests or heart attacks. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
