Elevator Erector – Job Profile

Position: Elevator Erector / Installation Technician

Key Responsibilities
Installation and erection of passenger, home and commercial elevators.
Installation of guide rails, brackets, doors, machine/gearless systems, ropes, safety components and elevator cabins.
Carry out elevator installation work as per approved drawings and safety standards.
Alignment, leveling and mechanical assembly of elevator components.
Assist commissioning engineers during testing and trial runs.
Identify and rectify installation-related issues.
Follow site safety procedures and maintain proper housekeeping.
Coordinate with supervisors, engineers and other site teams.
Complete installation work within the scheduled project timeline.

Required Skills:




1–5 years of experience in elevator/lift erection or installation.
Knowledge of elevator mechanical components and installation procedures.
Ability to read basic drawings and understand measurements.
Comfortable working at height and on construction sites.
Valuable teamwork and discipline.
ITI/technical qualification is preferred but not mandatory for experienced candidates.
