Position: Quality Engineer – Civil

Department: Quality / Project Execution

Location: Construction Site , Borivali West , Mumbai

Experience: 3–7 Years preferred

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering

Job Responsibilities
Ensure all civil construction activities are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, applicable IS codes, and project quality requirements.
Inspect RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, finishing, and other civil works.
Conduct incoming material inspections for cement, steel, aggregates, blocks, tiles, waterproofing materials, and other construction materials.
Prepare and maintain Inspection Requests (IR), Material Inspection Requests (MIR), checklists, test reports, and quality records.
Monitor concrete quality, including slump tests, cube casting, cube test results, and concrete pour documentation.
Ensure required laboratory and field tests are conducted as per approved Quality Assurance Plan.




Identify defective or non-conforming work and issue/monitor NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) until closure.
Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, consultants, PMC, and client representatives for quality inspections and approvals.
Verify workmanship before allowing subsequent activities to proceed.

Required Skills
Good knowledge of civil construction and finishing works.
Knowledge of IS Codes, QA/QC procedures, ITPs, method statements, and construction specifications.
Ability to read civil, structural, and architectural drawings.
Knowledge of concrete testing and construction material testing.
Solid documentation and reporting skills.
Positive coordination and communication with site teams, consultants, and clients.
Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and basic project documentation software.
