Role Description The Audit Associate role at RKVT AND CO is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. In this role, the Audit Associate will assist in planning and executing statutory and internal audits, including detailed testing of financial transactions and controls. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing financial statements, verifying supporting documentation, performing analytical procedures, and documenting audit findings in a explicit and organized manner. The Audit Associate will collaborate with senior team members,



communicate with client personnel to obtain information, and help ensure compliance with applicable accounting and auditing standards. The position also involves preparing working papers, supporting audit reports, and contributing to process improvements within the audit team.
Qualifications

Strong understanding of Finance and Financial Statements, with the ability to interpret and analyze key financial information.
Knowledge and practical exposure to Auditing and Financial Audits, including basic audit procedures and compliance requirements.
Well-developed Analytical Skills to identify trends, variances, and potential issues in financial data.
Relevant academic background in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (CA, CP FInalist or CA articleship completed or CA inte ror equivalent in progress or completed) are an advantage.
