Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic SEO Intern who has basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization and is eager to build a career in Digital Marketing. The candidate will work closely with our SEO and content teams and gain hands-on experience in improving website visibility, keyword rankings, and organic traffic.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in keyword research and analysis
Support On-Page and Off-Page SEO activities
Optimize website content, meta titles, meta descriptions, headings, and URLs
Conduct competitor and basic website analysis
Assist with backlink research and link-building activities
Monitor keyword rankings, website traffic, and SEO performance
Work with content writers to create and optimize SEO-friendly content
Assist in preparing SEO reports
Stay updated with SEO trends and search engine algorithm updates
Must-Have Basic Knowledge
Basic understanding of SEO and how search engines work
Knowledge of the difference between On-Page SEO and Off-Page SEO
Basic understanding of keywords and keyword research
Knowledge of meta titles, meta descriptions, headings, and URL optimization
Basic understanding of backlinks and link building
Familiarity with Google Search Console and Google Analytics
Basic knowledge of WordPress or other CMS platforms
Familiarity with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Ubersuggest, or Google Keyword Planner is a plus
Basic understanding of HTML is an added advantage
