Key Responsibilities

Tool Management
Material Receipt, inspection and storage cutting tools, inserts, holders, fixtures, gauges, and consumables.
Issue tools and equipment to machine operators as per requirements.
Monitor tool consumption and tool life records.
Ensure proper storage and identification of tools.

Inventory Control
Maintain accurate tool inventory records.
Conduct periodic stock verification and reconciliation.
Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels.
Prepare tool requirement reports and purchase requisitions.
Control obsolete, damaged, and expired inventory.

Documentation & Record Keeping
Maintain tool issue and return registers.
Update SAP, Excel, or inventory management systems.
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
Maintain tooling consumption record.

Procurement Coordination
Coordinate with the purchase department for tool procurement.




Follow up with suppliers regarding tool deliveries.
Compare quotations and maintain vendor records when required.

Calibration & Maintenance
Maintain records of measuring instruments and gauges.
Coordinate calibration schedules with quality departments.
Ensure tools and measuring instruments are in positive working condition.

Requirement profile:

Formal education: BE / B-Tech (Mechanical / Industrial Engg.)

Skilled experience In years: 7 to 9 Years
