Execute manual test cases to ensure the software works correctly, meets requirements, and is free of major defects before release.

Core Responsibilities
Test Case Execution
Execute assigned test cases step-by-step
Compare actual results with expected results
Mark test cases as Pass/Fail/Blocked
Functional Testing
Validate application features as per requirements
Test different user flows and scenarios
Verify: Inputs, Outputs, Business logic
Defect Identification & Reporting
Identify bugs/issues during testing
Log defects with Steps to reproduce, Expected vs actual result, Screenshots/videos, Re-test fixes after resolution
Regression Testing
Re-run test cases after changes or bug fixes
Ensure existing functionality is not broken
Test Data Preparation
Create and manage test data required for testing
Use realistic and varied data inputs
Basic UI Validation

Check
Form validations
Error messages
Navigation flows
Identify usability issues
Documentation & Tracking
Maintain test execution status




Update defect tracking tools
Provide daily/weekly progress updates
Collaboration
Work with QA lead and developers
Clarify requirements when needed
Report blockers early
