Role & responsibilities:
Design and develop Special Purpose Machines (SPMs) based on customer specifications and project requirements.
Create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM), assembly drawings, and fabrication drawings.
Design mechanical components such as Jigs &
Fixtures, Pneumatic Systems, Linear Motion Systems, and Material Handling Equipment

.
Perform design calculations, component selection, and tolerance analysis.
Coordinate with production, fabrication, procurement, and assembly teams to ensure smooth manufacturing and implementation.
Modify and improve existing machine designs to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
Support machine assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.
Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety requirements, and customer specifications.
Maintain design documentation, revision history,



and engineering records.

Preferred candidate profile:
Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Hands-on experience in SPM, Jig &
Fixture, and Material Handling Equipments.
Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication, machining, and sheet metal components.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.;
Robust problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Qualification:
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
