Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the factory godown, ensuring proper receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products. Maintain accurate stock records and ensure FIFO/FEFO practices. Monitor stock levels, conduct regular physical verification, and report discrepancies.
Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, pest control, and proper storage conditions. Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Accounts, and Retail teams for timely material movement. Supervise godown staff, allocate duties, and ensure safety and discipline.
Prepare daily stock and dispatch reports and maintain all required documentation.
