About the Role : The Salad House is looking for an Artisan Baker to take responsibility for developing and producing fresh, high-quality breads for our menu. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with bread, experimenting with recipes, and converting successful trials into consistent daily production.

Freshers who have completed a skilled bread-baking course are also welcome to apply.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Prepare fresh artisanal breads daily in small batches without preservatives.
Manage the complete bread-making process including mixing, kneading, fermentation, proofing, shaping and baking.




Develop and trial new breads suitable for sandwiches and other menu applications.
Refine existing recipes for better texture, flavour, softness, structure and shelf life.
Standardise recipes with exact quantities, temperatures, fermentation/proofing times and baking parameters.
Scale successful R&D; recipes into consistent daily production.
Maintain consistency in bread weight, size, texture, colour and quality across batches.
Monitor ingredient quality and minimise production wastage.
Maintain strict food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards in the bakery work area.
