Job DescriptionAbout the Role
nScrapio Auto Private Limited is looking for an Accounts & Payments Executive to manage day-to-day payments and payment-related accounting activities.
nThe role will work closely with the Senior Accountant and operations/procurement teams to ensure that vehicle procurement payments, vendor payments, employee expenses, and other operational payments are processed accurately and on time.
nResponsibilities

Process day-to-day vendor, dealership, agent, and vehicle procurement paymentsn
Verify payment requests against invoices, approvals, vehicle records, and supporting documentsn
Maintain accurate records of all payments made through bank, UPI, cash, and other modesn
Track pending, approved, processed, and failed paymentsn
Perform daily bank and payment reconciliationsn
Maintain vendor and party ledgers in Tally Prime/ERPn
Coordinate with the procurement and operations teams to resolve payment discrepanciesn
Track advances given to employees, agents, vendors, and other parties and ensure timely settlementn




Maintain proper invoices, vouchers, receipts, and payment documentationn
Assist the Senior Accountant with bookkeeping, GST/TDS documentation, monthly closing, and auditsn
Prepare daily/weekly payment reports for managementn

nRequirements
n
n
1–3 years of experience in accounts, payments, or finance operationsn
B.Com or equivalent qualification preferredn
Working knowledge of Tally Prime/ERPn
Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets and online bankingn
Basic understanding of GST, TDS, invoices, and accounting entriesn
Solid attention to detail and ability to handle a high volume of transactionsn
Valuable coordination and follow-up skillsn
Experience in automotive, manufacturing, trading, logistics, scrap/recycling, or similar operational businesses is preferredn
