nPosition Overview

nWe are looking for an experienced General Manager – India to lead and grow the company‘s India operations for industrial machinery, equipment and special-purpose vehicles, with a solid focus on the Aluminium and Steel Industries.
N

nThe role will have overall responsibility for Service & Maintenance, Business Development, Key Account Management, P&L;, day-to-day Operations and Administration.
N

nThe ideal candidate will have a solid background in Aluminium or Steel plants, Smelters, Casthouses, Steel Plants or related heavy industrial operations, combined with experience in servicing industrial equipment, special-purpose vehicles or heavy machinery.

nService & Maintenance

Lead overall service, maintenance, repair, overhaul and refurbishment activities in India. N
Manage field-service engineers, technicians, workshops and service teams. N
Ensure high equipment availability,



reliability and customer uptime. N
Provide technical leadership for special-purpose vehicles, mechanical equipment, hydraulic systems and industrial machinery. N
Develop preventive and corrective maintenance programmes and improve service response. N

nBusiness Development – Aluminium & Steel

Develop and execute the company‘s India business-development strategy with a specific focus on the Aluminium and Steel Industries. N
Build relationships with Aluminium Smelters, Casthouses, Steel Plants, Rolling Mills, Foundries and other heavy industrial customers. N
Identify opportunities for recent equipment, service contracts, aftermarket services, refurbishment, upgrades and spare parts. N
Develop relationships with key decision-makers across Operations, Maintenance, Projects, Engineering and Procurement. N
Track industry investments, capacity expansions, modernisation and equipme
